Hi everyone,
I just wanted to show you guys an update on my hair growth. I made a few posts in the past about the castor oil challenge. This challenge started in September and ends this week.
As you can see my hair has grown a bit. Not a whole lot, but I can definitely see a difference. For some reason it's growing faster in the back than anywhere else. The kind of castor oil I've using is the Jamaican black. I use it everyday around my edges, hairline, and the nape of my neck (pretty much the whole circumference of me head) and on the crow of my head. This is the result of that. There is another castor oil challenge coming up and you have until December 7th to register and will run until March 1st. You should really join and if not you should at least pop by the website because this girl posts amazing tips for natural hair. I'll try to post more updates as far as my natural hair journey. I still have a few reviews to do that hopefully I can get up in the next few weeks. I bought a new coconut oil and I want to use it a few more times before I post anything because I'm still on the fence about if I like it or not. Until next time! :)
I'm just a girl with a lot to say. I've got a ton of stories to share and minds to open. Here I show to you my poetry, stories, and other topics that fill my mind.

The Castor Oil Challenge Has Started!!
I made a post recently about the castor oil challenge made by Kinky Curly Coily Me. It goes from Sept. 1st- Dec. 1st. This challenge is to promote hair growth over the next three months (and hopefully beyond). I in no way have anything to do with this challenge, but I want to encourage many people to join it. I will be more than excited to update all of you on my continued journey. I do have some before pics that were taken on August 21st. These will be my before pics. You can see that from the sides my hair is a little past my jawline and the back is a little past the base of my neck. The front, not pictured, is to the tip of my nose. I'm hoping to gain 4-5 inches by the end of this challenge, but as long as I see progress I'll be fine.
What I will be using is the Jamaican Black Lavender Castor Oil. I will be using it mostly around my edges and crown for 4-5 days a week, as well as my eyebrows. I bought a 4oz. bottle off Amazon and since I received it early I started early and I can honestly already see a difference in my eyebrows so far. If you want to join you have until Sept. 7th to register which you can do here. All the instructions are there for you if you have any questions regarding the challenge. I hope some of you join! Good Luck!

Castor Oil Challenge
So I'm taking part in the castor oil challenge. Personally, I've never used it, but I've seen a lot of people swear about so I'm very excited about this. You can register here. You have until Sept 7th. I purchased Jamaican Black Lavender castor oil from Amazon for pretty cheap. There's other brands recommended on the page where you register. If, like me, you've never used castor oil take a look at those recommendations, search YouTube and google for reviews. Hopefully some of you will join me in this challenge! :)
