I saw a trailer for a movie called “Beyond the Lights” about a rising pop star who’s kind of struggling with it and there’s a scene where she’s sitting on the edge of a balcony and a cop is trying to talk her out of jumping. When she jumps he grabs her and he tells her “I see you. I SEE you.” I almost bawled. All I want in life is someone to say that to me. Just someone to 100% to see all of me and not just the surface.
